Cosmos - Focus on Scotland Tour

Hi, has anyone done this tour lately? I am planning on going in Sept 2006. I will be travelling on my own and will have a single room. Love people so mixing on the tour and at meals will not be a problem. Just interested in hotels, I know some of them are a little out of the way, but was this a problem on this tour? Also do you get much time in places to actually "see" things? I know that "see" may mean going past in the bus, but does all the scenery, tour director, driver, etc make up for all the minor negatives? Would love some feedback as I am in two minds at the moment. The tour is going to most places I want to see and I felt for me the bonus was the London/London stop start with a bit of English country side and towns thrown in! Cheers Michele
Just an aside how does Cosmos compare to Haggis tours, I know they are a lot cheaper and for younger people but some of us oldies may join in
