tauck vs. globus

Read with interest comments on Globus vs. Tauck in Italy. We are considering Eastern Canada in June of '06 with one of the two companies. Would love to hear others experiences with either company on Canadian tours. The difference in price is close to $2,000. Are the Tauck extreas - meals, better lodging, and side trips - worth the extra? BETH
