Suggested day trip from Frankfurt Germany

I'll be going on a Globus Central Europe tour next June. Will be staying in Frankfurt for a two night pre-stay.

Since I'm not too thrilled with spending time in Frankfurt, can anyone recommend day trips from Frankfurt? Best to go by car rental, bus, or train?

There are lots of things you could see on a day trip from Frankfurt. Try renting a car & visiting Heidelburg and BadenBaden. Or go further down to the Black Forest & Triburg. Enjoy!
