Glory Staterooms

We will be traveling in Dec on the Glory we are in cabin7439 empress deck7, in the aft of the ship.
This room is not the usual shape. It is shaped like an L , and has a larger deck which is why we took this room. We would like to know what the room itself looks like. Also there are stairs right next to the room, would this make a difference with the noise level?

If you have stayed in either this room or room 7434 the same room on the other side of the ship, please let us know what to expect.

Also, anyone who has traveled around the Dec 10th time frame, are there a lot of kids aboard at this time?
