European Masterpiece Tour

Hi There!!
Just like to know if any has been on this tour, as my mum & I are going b/w 20th June to 16th July 2005.
Firslty would like to know how much spare time do they give you?
Whats the food like?
Accomodation??
& Bus & tour guides??

Just heard some positive & some negative things about this tour & company & just getting abit paranoid as its getting closer & my mum & I have never been ou of Australia before.

Any info would be much appreciated!!

Our experience with Cosmos was great. But, we live simply and are a bit frugal living on a limited budget. Food was very good, accomodations clean and very pleasant. You will see a lot and travel far with all details handled for you. If you can schedule a bit of time to travel after the tour on your own you can choose places you want to explore at your own pace.
Take time to meet your fellow travelers. Making new friends is the greatest opportunity of a tour.

Ren, we just returned from doing the European Masterpiece and you and your mum are going to have a wonderful time. We were in the early season so numbers at sights were down which was great and you will probably have far more people to contend with but as far as the tour goes it was spectacular. Hotels were all good, nothing fancy but not complaint worthy, included meals were fine, some optionals were better value than others( we didn't do them all). . Most of our hotels certainly were not out in the sticks and you could easily get into the city by walking or public transport if needed, usually there was no need as the city tour leaves you in town and a pick was arranged to take you back or get your own way back. If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer them.
