Portugal in Depth

I am leaving for the Portugal in Depth tour on May 22. Was wondering if anyone has taken this tour, and if so what were your impressions or what do you remember both. I have never traveled with Globus before and am a bit nervous as I am traveling alone.

Last Sept. my adult son and I took a great Globus Tour that included Portugal , Morocco and Spain . . "Clay" was our Tour Director- wonderful guy! It was a busy experience but I'd do it again with more time in Morocco! We felt "safe" and well taken care of! The food and accomdations were excellent . . And your fellow travelors should be a good group! Ours was !! Plus this was our first time to Europe and North Africa! Next for us? Egypt! I took the Portugal in Depth tour last year - it was fantastic. I have taken about a dozen Globus tours and this one was at the top of the list. Portugal is extremely beautiful and old world - you will love it. The tour director named Rui was great and all of the optional excursions were really good. I would take that tour again!

We are leaving this month. What were the best parts of the tour? What recommendations would you have for first time travelers? Are there any add ons that are a must? We were thinking of doing the Gibraltar add on.
