Family planning a summer vacation in Italy

We are a family of four planning a trip to Italy this summer. We have two kids aged 7 and 4. We would like to stay close to the sea and just relax for a couple of weeks.

Could anyone suggest what part of Italy we should target on a moderate budget?

Hi i saw your message and i immediately thought of the Amalfi coast, a city like Positano is nice, even Sorrento , there are many beach resorts, some affordable ones too, if your on a tight budget there are less resort like accomodations that are still very near the beach. Your kids would have fun. Hope it was helpful.
