ATM's

Does anyone know if there are ATM's available at Sandals, and if so, what kind of bank fees are there? We are staying at the Grande Ochos Rios. I see on Sandals website that they have an exchange bureau available. We are trying to determine how much access we will have to cash without having it on us.

We always take cash and travelers checks. Never seen an atm at smb and the money exchange at the cashiers booth there is jamaican $'s only. If we ever need extra $'s we usually have one of our drivers take us in town.

agreed, we went in town for money once. and the prob with traveler's checks (at least at SDR when we were there) was that the gift shop is going to give you change back in jamaican $$$. . you don't want that.

We got american $'s back at smb.

No ATM's at SRB , either. There was some in-town, but it's better not to have to use them.. .. .. ..I always got Bahamian money back, whenever I bought stuff in town with US dollars. I just brought cash and a visa card.. .. .. .. .. .. . I heard there was ATM's at the airport, and they were unreliable.. .. .. .. .. .
