costsaver - European Festival Vs. Globus

We took a Globus tour a few years ago and it was outstanding. Now, we are looking at a 23 day costsaver tour with Trafalgar. Based on the comments on this link, we are a bit aprehensive as to the quality of the lodging. We realize it won't be as nice as Globus, but would like SOME reasuarance that we won't be disappointed. Please be frank, as we could upgrade if necessary. THANKS!!
