Melia Turquesa Cancun MX

I'm going to the Melia Turquesa in Cancun MX. Can anyone provide me with some insight regarding the quality of the hotel, beach, food, etc.. .?

Just got back from the Melia Turquesa in Cancun - You will love it! I had read many bad reviews - all false. We were greeted promptly - were in our room within 20 minutes and were on the beach! The room was large and clean. The food was good - I can't say great. We didn't starve - You have to be willing to try new things. There are always hot dogs and hamburgers on the outside grill if all else fails. Breakfast is really good! The entertainment staff were so fun and she shows at night were actually pretty good. You can go to the street and catch a bus for about .60 (american) - use pesos and get them exchanged at the hotel. It is just easier -
Do not try to take a cab - If you do - pay them before you get to your destination so they won't change the price.

Again, I hope you have a great time at this hotel. The LaIsla mall across the street has very nice shopping at night and the Pink Flamingo during the day is pretty cool.
