To those who have been or are going to Hedo, what country are you coming from?

somsagro,
I think you'll find the majority of guests from the US, with a contingent from Canada always there too. Not to say there aren't guests from Europe, but there would be the minority. I know there have been guests from England & Italy while we've been there and a few Germans.

Guests are from all parts of the US, with maybe a little higher percentage east-coasters due to the shorter trip from east coast gateways to Montego Bay. We love our 8:30 am flight from BWI - we are at checkin while lunch is still going on :)

Thank you very much, that was the kind of info we wanted. We are coming from South America and think it will be interesting to share with people from other countries. We've been to Cancun before and that is almost like going to any city in the US! Not what we are looking for.

We've been to Hedo II 5 times, and have never really ventured too far away from the resort - but I can say that Hedo is not like any US city! Unless you think of it as an "adult" Disney World! Most of the guests quickly adapt the the Jamaican "no problem" theme. Something about being naked, on the beach, with 150 or so of your new best-friends.

The guests are very friendly, you rarely pass someone on a walkway without a "hello" or "good morning/afternoon/evening". . Many people comment that Hedo is more about the people, than the resort. To some degree I agree with that. Everyone is very non-judgemental - guests range from the "fit-body" category to those that haven't seen a gym in a fewwwww years.. .. . But, everyone is still treated the same way, key word being "respect" (or "respect, mon" in Jamaica!). .
