Luggage: Please help

Hi,
I am taking tour "European introduction" from October 21 to 28. I will join the tour in Brussels and leave in Paris on 28th for India.

I will have 2 additional checkin bags and a trolley checkin bag. I got my travel documents yesterday and they say that trolley bags are not allowed as handbags and only one checkin bag is allowed.

Are they strict about this?Please advice me as per your previous experiences.

As far as I know, no one in our "Wonders of Europe" had more than one suitcase per person. While the dirve or the tour director did not check the diamonson of our handcarry bag, no one took trolley bag (wheeled carry-on case?) as their carry on bag. There just won't be any space around your seat to stow it.

If your tour is not full and you give your driver an extra tip unfront, they may let you store more than one piece of luggage in the luggage compartment. But this is strictly my guess.

We were only allowed one suitcase that was stored under the bus (the maximum size you are permitted is very large). . No one actually checked the dimensions. They were very strict about the one suitcase rule. The carry-on can only be the dimensions quoted as they are stored above the seat and there are steel bars (not straps) so you can's squeeze anything in there. Our tour director was VERY strict about not having anything under or on the seats, especially in Italy. As the tour progressed, everyone had more than one carry-on as we purchased things we did not want stored below. The tour director was not as concerned as the tour went on.
