Are there many singles travelling?

I embarked on a cosmos 8 day tour of europe plus a 16 day tour of britain and ireland as a single traveller. During the european trip i shared with an American lady which was ok, except for the snoring.
during the 16 day tour of britain and ireland i had a room to myself at no extra cost , which was just wonderful. Tour guides were excellent, people from all over the world were extremely friendly. All breakfasts and dinners of high standard, motels mostly more than satisfactory. I never felt afraid once, and I would thoroughly recommend a budget holiday with cosmos. All transfers from Heathrow airport to motel were taken care of. [quote][/quote]

my husband and i just returned from a cosmos tour through the UK. there was only 1 single on this tour. i was a bit surprised as i've been on 2 Contiki tours previously (as a single) and there were LOTS of solo travellers on both of those tours.

I am travelling solo on the European Jewels tour with Cosmos on the 15th of June. I was curious if there are any others on this forum that might be on the same tour as me?

Thanks for the great info about single travellers. As you can expect being a younger single female, I'm a little nervous. I've heard excellent things about Cosmos, so this has put my mind at ease. Now I just have to make some friends on the tour.

If anyone has any advice or will be on the same tour, I'd love to hear from you.

Hi! I also will be traveling alone, on my first tour. I am a little nervous, but also excited.

Interested at all in the Hawaii trip in October. I also plan to start trveling alone to other destinations over time, as my husband cannot go with me.
