My husband and I are doing our first trip with our baby who will be 5 months old in October, when we are going to Majorca (or also spelled Mallorca), the island off the east coast of Spain.

First of all, how is the weather there?

Secondly, I would love some recommendations on where to stay. I know it's off-season so was hoping for a nice place at decent prices. I have marriott points we can redeem but i figured for off-season maybe i should just pay the prices for another hotel if it's not too expensive.

I know this reply is a few years late, but if there is anyone else looking for a place to stay in Mallorca I have some suggestions, since I am also looking into options for when I travel there later this year:

If someone is travelling with a baby, I would suggest this site:

http://www.casamundo.co.uk/spain/majorca/

They list houses, villas, apartments and hotels. Sometimes it's nicer to stay in a little house or apartment when you have a baby, since you might have special equipment for the child and you can also have a refridgerator to keep whatever food the baby needs.

And of course boutique hotels are always great! Just sometimes a little pricey:
