IS BEING SINGLE THE BEST FOR A CONTIKI TOUR?

James is 100% right!! My tour was around 75% female and the whole tour was around 90% single. If you are looking , I highly recommend playing the touring singles circuit. Lotsa pickings!!

I have to agree with them all. Same here. Been on 4 tours 3 Europe and 1 USA and all of them about 70% to 30% mix in favour of the female gender. Most were single and made alot of good friends from all the tours.

I'm in the same position as Neal. First time traveller looking for the best tours/cruise that cater for single people. It's scary for me not having travelled on my own but I have to do it. Not sure where I want to go yet, maybe Tahiti, Hawaii, somewhere warm. Where is the best place to look for information?

My brother and I went on a Contiki trip in 1999 and both of us met and got involved with females that we met on that tour. He was lucky though, as the girl he met lived in a neighboring town to his. The one I met lived in Perth, so it didn't last after the tour. But my brother continued on and developed a romantic relationship with the girl he met on the tour, and it lasted well beyond their return to the USA.
