My wife is in the military and we are scheduled to move to Lamaddelena in December. what is the climate like and are there any web sites to see more pictures of the area??

MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN STATIONED IN LA MADDALENA AND WE'LL BE ARRIVING IN JUNE. I HAVE HEARD THAT IT'S REALLY HARD TO TRAVEL OFF OF THE ISLAND IF YOU DON'T PLAN A LONG TIME IN ADVANCE?
