trip in ireland

I want to travel round ireland via rent-a-car. Problem is, i wouldnt have a clue where to go! can anyone help me by doing up a quick itinerary? I only have 8 days there. I'm hoping to stay at B&B's and am only interested in culture, scenery and buildings (castles etc). .
