has anyone tried the 5 apple square deal to Punta Cana?

I was just wondering if anyone has tried the 5 apple square deal to Punta Cana? If so, please let me know what your experience was. Thanks so much

Me and my family took a trip to punta cana in July 2004 it was horrible the room was nothing more than a 2 star hotel. We were told it was 4 1/2 apples out of 5.We booked the all inclusive vacation the food was horrible my whole family got dissintery. The Ice tastes like it has been dropped on the floor a couple of times. It is mostly casserole style dishes and the meat looked like nothing I had ever seen before. You are mostly stuck in the bathroom more time than you are enjoying your vacation. There were roaches everywhere and the staff were high on cocaine. I know because one of them offered me a hit of crack. WE PAYED OVER 3000 DOLLARS FOR THE VACATION IT WAS HORRIBLE DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY.If you do go eat at the restraunt by the french pool they had personal pan pizzas.It was the only edible food we could find.The staff was incompitent we were only given towels and wash clothes the first day we were there. After that they stopped bringing them altogether. When i called up to complain no one spoke english. When i went to the front desk and complained about the quality of my room, I was told I could upgrade for $500 .When i said no and asked what type of room they had me placed in the consierge said 2 apples we payed for 4 1/2.We asked for a refund a month and a half ago i doubt we'll get it.This vacation totally -

What resort did you stay at? Personally I would never even think of staying at anything less than a 5 star or 5 apple resort. I guess you get what you pay for.

Four of us went to Punta 2 years ago through Apple. It was fabulous,the Apple representative was always at the front desk to answer questions or problems.The food at our hotel was terrific (we stayed at the RIU PALACE) anyone that says they got sick,was sick in the head. The excursions is the only time you want to leave the resort.But that goes for anytime you travel to a depressed culture.The golf courses are great too!!!

I am so sorry to hear that you had a bad time in Punta Cana. I dont know where you were but at the Palladium Grand it was so nice. I have been all over the world and that was the best time I have had.

If you booked a 5 apple square deal vacation and didn't receive a 5 apple square deal resort. Your contract is voidable.. .. .. . my god issue a charge back on your credit card. the 5 apple square deal is guranteed in writing.

In 2003 my husband and I booked a 4 apple square deal to punta cana and it was the best vacation we have ever been on.. .. .. ..and we only paid somewhere around $1500 for both of us for 7 nights!! We stayed at Natura Park, but sunscape (a 5 apple) was within walking distance on the beach and it was more "american". . We went to the sunscape for lunch twice (our apple representative told us we could hop between resorts!) and the only difference was that more people spoke English. I'm looking for other square deals now because I was so impressed!! For not knowing where your going, you can't really beat the price, and during our stay we didn't hear anyone complain about where they were placed (although all but a handful were taken to Natura Park). . I'd go back in a heartbeat, and if I don't find something appealing in cancun soon, we may be there again this summer!

My girlfrind and I went at the end of Feb. for 4 nights.. .. ..we stayed at "Sunscape on the Beach" which had just opened in Nov., it was fantastic! We are already looking when to go back, everything was great. The cost is was sold us.. .. .$701.00 per person which included airfair and the resort was all inclusive.

We traveled to Punta Cana in April 2005.. ..I was a great experience. The staff was very helpful at all times. We stayed at the Sunscape at the Beach.. .. ..We will certainly go back.
