St. Lucia Weather???

St. Lucia Weather???

Postby Guest » Thu Nov 11, 2004 11:07 am

Hi Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has recently returned from St. Lucia and how the weather was??? My Fiance and I are going to the Grande for our honeymoon later this month and all the weather reports show the same thing for everyday, RAIN  !!! No sun at all for the next 10 days, just rain. Does this mean rain all day everyday or does it just rain for a short period of time and then sun. I really hope the weather will clear up.

Thanks for any info!!! :D :?: :?:

I was there not to long ago and the weather is always the same it rains off and on a few times a week nothing to bad one day it rained most of the day but other wise it was pleasant and nice sun shines thur the clouds and makes for real pretty sun sets.. .. . while at the grande look up a guy named Albert in the main lobby he is a great guy and will help alot.. .. . tell him the Elliotts and Hendricks from WIS sent you he is the guy to hook you up with room upgrades and such was great to get a lagoon suite from him and concierge service.. .. .

If you're looking at like.. .. . weather underground or one of the other weather sites, keep in mind that forecasts show chance of rain almost every day. Last week showed thos rain icons for the whole week. Actual rainfall for the week was like 2.5 inches and that was mostly intermittent. And a couple days had almost no rain at all. I'm headed there December 26th. I've been watching too. It's a tropical location. There's a chance of rain most days. But you're heading into the dry season there (relatively speaking) so relax and go there expecting sun, fun, and rum! Worst that can happen is you'll get wet.

feedback = you'll get some rain.

Look.. .. . it's a tropical island. Rain is forecast almost all the time. Very often that rain comes in the form of a 10 minute shower. Or a couple of them. August is also hurricane season. You may get more rain if a storm is moving through, but honestly, even though this past year was odd.. .. . NORMALLY the hurricanes don't track as far south as they did this year.

Again, though.. .. . this is a tropical island. Expect rain. PLAY in the rain. You'll have the same forecast generally throughout the caribbean in August. If you're afraid of rain, go to Arizona or something. :) (not said in a nasty way) but if you want tropical island paradise.. .. . then expect to get wet occasinally and enjoy it.
