Inexpensive Beach Vacation??

My husband and I are planning our vacation for next April (2005). . We want to go somewhere tropical, without spending a ton of cash. We are spending alot on this years vacation, so we need to scale down for next year. Any suggestions?

We have been to Maui, Puerto Vallarte, Jamaica and the Bahamas, so we'd like somewhere new.

We will most likely have 2 weeks to spend there.

You might want to consider Costa Rica, it offers alot of the same amenities and facilities found in Caribbean/Mexican resorts but at a more affordable price. I wouls suggest looking at the Fiesta Resort, Fiesta Premier, Allegro Papagayo, Costa Smeralda and maybe Barcelo Playa Langosta. Also depending on your budget there are destinations like Curacao, Antigua and Barbados you might also consider.
