Sandals Resorts vs. Couples Resorts

We are in our 50s planning a trip next year with good friends. Completely confused about where to go- we seem to have narrowed it down to these 2 resorts. We love good seafood and sightseeing, friendly people and a little pampering. Has anyone been to both resorts? Any feedback greatly appreciated.
