Eastern Europe

I am just beginning to plan for a six month trip to the western countries of eastern Europe:Albania, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Estonia, Belarus. I will then head down through Russia and the Ukraine before heading off to Thailand for a four month stay. Are there any travelers who also plan to visit any of the above countries or have already been there that could help me plan an enjoyable adventure. I will also head for Iceland sometime during the summer probably from Berlin. I will begin this adventure in late April. I travel like a backpacker and have visited some 100 countries already. Thanks
