Silversea Cruises' first World Cruise will feature a collection of 22
optional overland excursions of one to six nights. Departing Jan. 15, 2007,
from Fort Lauderdale, the Silver Shadow's World Cruise will cross three
oceans, seven seas and six continents, visiting 61 ports, and conclude in
New York City on May 22. The overland excursions will allow World Cruise
passengers to walk in the footsteps of Charles Darwin in the Galapagos
Islands, take a rail journey through the Andes to Machu Picchu, soar over
the Australian Outback in a balloon, visit Bali's ancient Buddhist and Hindu
temples, or cross the Nile to explore Egypt's Valley of the Kings. The
overland extensions include deluxe accommodations, porterage, all transfers,
sightseeing and some meals. Prices range from $4045 to $4,295 per person,
based on double occupancy. For guests with a preference for shorter tours,
the line is also offering over 200 additional optional shore excursions
ranging from just a few hours to a full day
