Copper Canyon with Caravan Tours

Postby e3brown » Wed Feb 20, 2008 8:49 am

Recently did Copper Canyon with Caravan Tours. First trip with them. Did my research first. They have been around for many years and specialize in North and Central America.

A detailed trip report is available at:
http://www.slowtrav.com/tr/tripreport.asp?tripid=1435

or

http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1 . .. .. . exico.html

Pictures and video are available at

This forum adds an extra "period" in URLs. Therefore, you will need to delete the extra "period" in all instances where two appear together. Happy traveling!!

Yes, many many tour companies offer a tour to Copper Canyon. Just Google Copper Canyon tour. However, I can only speak to the one company.

Thank you very much for posting your trip report on Tripadvisor. I've been thinking of taking this tour and now I think I just might in the next couple years. Cheers, Gale S.

Just a FYI that Caravan Tours have made significant changes to the itinerary on their Coppe Canyon trip for 2010 and personally I don't feel its nearly as desirable as their older itineraries. Leaving from Phoenix doesn't show you the countryside like from El Paso and they are now totally leaving out Creel, and Chiahuahua which were very nice stops. I'll wait to see a review but its a substantial change and I don't feel a positive one.
