Best of Southern Italy

It's hard to believe that no one is going on this trip. I am getting worried.

This board does not have very many posters. So you would be lucky if you did contact someone who is going on the very same tour with you.

This is our lst Globus Tour. We have done a few Trafalgar tours . . Trafalgar has a great Bulletin Board. I have met many interesting people on that board. It is unfortunate that Globus does not have one.

You are welcome, Mary. We have taken two Globus tours and both of them were outstanding. Our tour director in Italy, however, was not very good.

Dh and I will be taking our 4th Globus tour in May to Italy. Globus does a good job and I am sure you will have a wonderful time.
Max is correct that there are not many posters on here. It used to be more active however they implemented some dumb restrictions that has really had a very negative impact on this board.
I think you will find that Globus compares very favorably to Trafalgar according to some old posts on these boards.

We went on the Grand Tour of Italy and Sicily this past June and it was wonderful. We had a wonderful tour director named Nicholas. And our driver Loborio was outstanding also. If you go with Globus you can be assured of them taking care of everything. They are very well organized. Based in Switzerland and with 30 tour directors in the Rome office alone. Also they have many years of experience. I am glad we went with Globus. Take the time and go back and read all the past entries on Italy on this board and you will find answers to most any questions you might have.
And plenty of comments from those who have traveled in Italy with Globus.

We toured Italy and Sicily with Globus a couple of years ago. It was a fantastic trip. Globus is a first rate company and will certainly provide you with a first class holiday. The tour director makes your holiday. We had Mario on this particular tour. We have had better but we made the best of it. We are about to do our 10th Globus tour in the Spring of 2008 so I think that tells you something. Globus has been good for us. I'm sure you will have a great holiday. Enjoy!
