Grecian Fables 2009

I am considering the Greece tour with 7 days cruise- Grecian Fables which includes Istanbul- anyone have any insight (haha ) in this one? Fall 2009

I would be wary of the Greek ship that Insight uses for the cruise portion of the tour. After all, it is not Holland America or Princess.

I want a cruise tour tho, I don't want to stay on a ship the whole time. I like to experience the "life " of the countries. All the tour groups use Louis Lines.

Louis Lines is not known for an exceptional cruise experience. If you go with that in mind, you can enjoy the land portion of the tour.

Then what cruise do you recommend and have you actually been on the Grecian cruises and did you know someone who went of Louis? Just trying to get some more info. thanks

We have not been on a Louis Cruise Lines ship but we have read a lot of bad reviews on them. Do a Google search on "Louis Cruise Lines complaints" and start reading them.

I agree with Max about the Louis Line. Do a google search.This is the same line that ran ashore in the Greek Isle and 2 passengers died.

Again, my impression is that they are a step or two beneath Holland America, Princess and Royal Carribbean.

I would think that "sinking" is way "below" the other cruise lines!!
