I want to take the 9 day Globus switzerland tour the end of aug.2005.Can anyone tell me if they have gone on this tour and if they enjoyed the tour?I will be taking my 80 yo mother with me and would like to know if this tour would be appropriate for my mother. She has no problem walking, so I don't forsee there being any problems. Also , were the hotels you stayed out okay? Thank you very much in advance for your replies.

Have you looked at Insight tours. They have a Country Roads of Switzerland (14 days) that is absolutely wonderful. We took it; hotels were central, meals outstanding, and included more sightseeing that Globus or Trafalgar. You will love it.

We took this itinerary last year with Cosmos. We stayed at cheaper hotels in most of the same cities. The scenery is fabulous and your walks are less strenuous as ours were. I think you will be very satisfied.
