Hoping to get some good advice as we are ready to book. We went to Couples Negril a couple of years ago and loved it (although wasn't much of a nightlife). . We thought of trying a different resort this time (going July 28 thru August 4) and stay at Sandals Negril. Can anyone give me a good comparison/advice? Is Sandals Negril really worth the extra $$$ Would appreciate any and all comments. We would love an upscale resort with some nightlife but not Hedo (been there, done that). .

Hands down I would choose Couples Negril over Sandals. Couples Negril offers a sunset catamaran cruise, drink service on the beach, trip to Margaritaville, Pirates Cave, the Jungle Disco, golf and shopping trip that you won't receive with a Sandals Negril package. Couples is by far the best couples-only resort chain on the island.
