Has anyone taken this tour? What is it like? We are scheduled to go in August and are very excited. Any tips?

My husband and I did not do a Globus tour. We traveled alone and drove through Scotland - the Highlands - and met the most wonderful people! We took the Glen Farclas distillery tour and LOVED it! (He loves single malt scotches.) However, the Glen Grant distillery and grounds was even better dur to the grounds. We stayed in Inverness at Kilcoy Arms and met locals who we still e-mail. In Edinburgh, we did visit the fountain for Greyfriar's Bobby but wished we gone in the pub. The single malt tour was a bit cheesy. Plockton was lovely. Sorry I can't tell you about Globus' tour, but I can tell you that you are going to a wonderful place.
