Has anybody taken A&K to India? I am hoping to go in Oct. and am on a tour that does not include Varnasi with the boattrip on the River. I am concerned about the diseases and squalor of that area. Will I feel that I have missed something? thanks, Sue Halpern

I travelled to India on tour organized by Abercrombie in Nov 2000. It was was the best trip that anyone had had and this group have travelled the world. It really was magical and we did go to Varnasi. The whole experience left us all wanting to go back
