On the Best of Itlay, there are several dinners included. Where? Are the dinners in the hotel or at a local restaurant? How's the food? Does everyone participate? The hotel in Venice is so far away from what we want to see and I was hoping dinner was not at the hotel. Too far to bother.

Don't know about that particular tour, but included dinners are USUALLY at the place of lodging.

The water taxis in Venice are a good way to get around. Have no fear.

The hotel in Venice is in Mestre - a train ride away from the actual old Venice. It would be a LONG haul back to the hotel just for a hotel meal. Thank you!!!

We stayed at a hotel in Mestre last year on our tour. The included meal was at the hotel.
