I have my first trip to Sandals Dunn's river booked for Nov 15th-22nd for my honeymoon and I am wondering if you guys have any advice about the activities they have around there. I'm talking about the river tubing, scuba diving, horseback riding, mountain biking, anything that is fun. My wife and I want to do 3 or 4 of these things and we'd love some feedback. Also, I booked the Honeymoon Penthouse suite, just wondering if anyone has been in that room and what to expect. Thanks!

We are going to SDR in June 2005, adn have booked A-Z travel planners for our tours. Am planning on going to Dunns Falls, Fern Gully, Shaw Gardens, and then MArgarittaville. Its a day excursion, and only costs $43.. ..SDR costs 25 just to do Dunns Falls! I can send you the email of activities sent to me by the travel planners, if you like.. ..or their contact info.. .

We were at Dunn's River last summer and went on the same tour of Ocho Rios with A-Z Jamaica Planners that psyNY is mentioning. I think they call it the "Ocho Rios Highlights Tour". . It was outstanding and well worth it. If you book with A-Z, I would highly recommend that you request Oscar as your driver/tour guide. He was great!!

As for other activities, there are several things you can book at the resort (horse back riding, coffee plantation bike ride, etc.). . We did not do any of those things, but other people that we talked with had done those things and enjoyed them.

If you are going to pick just one thing to do, I would definitely recommend the Ocho Rios Highlights tour that was described above.

Illiniturf is completely right, the tour is called ochos rios highlights tour. and oskar comes highly recommended. We are going in june, and i will post a review when we get back. till then, write if you need any more information. most importantly, remember.. ..its your honeymoon, relax, and enjoy your time with your new spouse!
