I am not sure this is the same but, we took that option last year on a Cosmos tour and did not feel it was a good value. We would not do it again. I must admit we were on the early side of the tourist season and maybe things were not up to speed yet. The meal was okay but not worth the $87 a head. There was one piper and two girls to dance. The ceremony of the haggis was nothing much to write home about. Our other option in Edinburgh was a dinner at the Sheeps Hied pub and we found this well worth the money. Included in that option was a night time drive to one of the high points in Edinburgh to see the city at night. Also in Edinburgh our tour had a included Edinburgh city tour. It was generally okay but, after the castle we were bussed to the main drag in the city and left for two hours to shop before being picked up and bussed back to our hotel. I would recomend that you jump the buss after the castle tour (staying there as long as you wish as it was to short) and walk the royal mile and find your own way to the hotel. Tell your tour guide that you will be leaving the city tour though as they keep a very close count on the passengers to see that none are left behind. We missed the royal mile on our last tour and will not do that again.
