i live in amsterdam and want to take 2 weeks in italy. i want to do venice, florance. rome and pompei. I could fly in a rent a car, or fly in train around, or drive all the way from Holland. Who knows if this can be done comfortably in 2 weeks? Grateful 4 any info,

I remember 10 years ago we left from Salerno, a nice town overlooking the sea and arrived to Amsterdam by car.
The journey was really nice but we were really tired.
If you choose to fly and then to rent a car it is the best thing to do.
Anyway if you decide to admire the beauties in my area ( the ruines of Pompei, Ercolano,the temples of paestum, naples, Sorrento, ther isle of capri.. .. .)
I can suggest you to visit this website also to have an idea about a comfortable and cheap accomodation
