Has anyone been on the G'Day Australia tour? If so, could you please tell me what the schedule in Sydney is like? I will be going on this tour in September. I have booked my own airline reservations and will be arriving at 6:30AM on the day of arrival. From what I gathered from the travel itinerary, there appears to be a city tour the next day, with a welcome dinner in the evening, and you are on your own the day after that (assuming you don't go on any of the optionals). . While I am there, I would like to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge and try to meet up with a friend that I met on a tour several years ago. For obvious reasons, I don't anticipate planning anything for my day of arrival, but I'm not sure how to optimize the remaining free time I have. Any information you might have on the timings would be much appreciated. Thanks.

How are the optional tours in Sydney? Is there anything I'd seriously be missing out on because I am choosing to do my own thing? So many things to do and so little time.. .. .
