Got into London, and it has been a long day. Being that I was traveling on my own, I was kind of scared. The Globus people were at the airport and were great! Had to wait about 1 hour before we could leave. When I got to the hotel, the Globus staff again were great! Very helpful and kind! I was very hungry as when I was flying over the food service on the airplane was on strike. I was staying at the hotel "Novotel London West". . Very nice hotel and the food is reasonable. You are located near many shops and resturants. Just a short walk away. The hotel is in an area called "Hammersmith". . Shopping is all along King street. You hear warnings about caution when crossing the street - its true! People drive crazy and backwards to what I am used to in Canada!
