I am going to book to stay at one of the Secrets Resorts, although still unsure which one, but we can only go in the first week in October or from the 24th October through to the end of November. I am just a little unsure of best time to go regarding the weather. As we are only going for a week, I would hate it to rain. Can anyone advice us when would be best to go and what would we expect the temperature to be In October or November? Hope someone can advise me as we are hoping to book in the next couple of days. Also has anyone stayed at any of the Secrets resorts and if so, can they recommend which category of room to go for and would be really great if they can recommend a room/suite number that has lovely views etc. Thanks, maryjo

We are thinking of booking at one of the Secrets resorts also, but in January 2006. Let us know which one you decide on and what you thought of your trip. I, for one, would be very interested to know. As of right now, we're leaning toward Secrets Excellence Riviera Cancun, but keep waffling with Capri also. Maybe your experience will help swing the vote! Thanks tons

Hi D&K, we have just gone and booked Secrets Excellence. Going on 20th November. Hopefully we have made the right decision, but I'm sure any of the two would be perfect. We had considered the Honeymoon suites but we opted for the Excellence Club suites. They all face the ocean(I think) so they should all have lovely views. It was just that Excellence has more restaurants to choose from and 6 pools but if we enjoy SERC, and I'm sure we will, then when we return, we will just go and book Secrets Capri. I will be sure and write a report when we return. Cannot wait to go. Counting the weeks already! Just hope the weather is kind to us! Anyway, hope you decide soon which to choose. You lucky duck!!!! Yes, I'm jealous as h***!!! We, too, have decided on Secrets Excellence (at this point) basically because of the same reasons and are also going to book with the excellence club. Please do write when you get back so that we can determine if the excellence club is worth it or not. I don't mind spending the extra $$$ if the amenities warrant it, but don't want to waste $$$ either. I hope that you have an absolutely wonderful time on your vacation and can't wait to hear from you when you get back
