I am planning a 14 day or so trip to Italy in May 2005 and would like to spend enough time to really see Venice and Rome. I have looked at tours from Gate 1, Globus and Overseas Adventure Travel and am trying to decide which will be the most fun. I am concerned about the negative comments about Gate1 and Trafalgar. I would hate to go all that way and not have the best possible time.

I cant compare them all, but I can tell you that we traveled with Gate 1 in May 2005 through Italy and it was incredible. Our guide was fabulous and I would not hesitate to recommend that trip at all.
