I am an educated woman from Canada who has escaped the rat race. I was a teacher by trade but am now self-employed. I tried several home-based businesses with the intention of staying at home and being able to travel. I did okay; earning hundreds of extra dollars per month but not enough to quit work and afford excellent travel.
