Dress

Dress

I leave in 2 weeks and was wondering about the dress at night. I have read seberal posts on womens shoes. I have already some longer skirts and have the colored dresser thongs with these. Will they be accepted in the nicer places to eat?

Let me first say that I find that I will look at this board MAYBE once a week.. .. ..and I normally just do a fast read through, as THERE IS HARDLY anything to read anymore!!! That says a lot in my opinion?? Where are the people who used to be here all the time and with lots of good information?? They are now at www.chris-n-cheryls.com that's where!! That is the message board to go to for ANY information you may need for your trip. There are many people who have returned from SWH now and are answering questions left and right.. .. .. ..and many pictures to now see of the resort.
This board is just the hang out for confrontational and rude people. Llund is a great moderator, and she is doing the best she can to help this board along, but until it is 'cleaned up', there is nothing for me to come back to anymore.
The biggest plus to being at Cheryl's is that EVERYONE HAS TO REGISTER to READ OR POST. This way the 'riff-raff doesn't tarnish the board as it has here. I say let all the GUESTS stay here, and hide behind their obscurity.

So, to answer your question, as mentioned in several of the postings at Cheryl's, dress code is strict for dinner for the men, NO shorts and shirts have to have a color and a sleeve (short sleeve is totally good) and I think men also wear Closed toe shoes. Women can wear sundresses and sandals.
Hope this helps and sorry for my indignant rantings.

Thanks Ruby Ann for the advice. I thought I read somewhere that you could not were thongs. I guess I should of thought about that before I bought colored ones to go with skirts. I also liked your advice about the board.

I am realizing I need to proof read my postings!!!

"dress code is strict for dinner for the men, NO shorts and shirts have to have a color and a sleeve (short sleeve is totally good) and I think men also wear Closed toe shoes. Women can wear sundresses and sandals."
DID NOT MEAN "COLOR". .. .. .. .. ..meant "COLLAR". .. .. .. . Collared shirts for men.
And woman can wear sundresses, skirts, or pants to dinner and sandals.
There is a post at Cheryl's that someone shared regading some awesome shoes for men, so that they don't have to wear socks with dress shoes. If you want this information let me know and I will find the site for you. AND they weren't expensive either!
Hope this helps.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. . and Thanks!
