Paris and London, First Time

Hey, I'll be taking the 14 day leisure tour of Paris and London and I wanted to know if anyone's ever been on it before. Even if you haven't I'd just like to know how travelling with Globus has been and how much money a youth such as myself might be spending and some good things to do in Paris and London. Thanks a lot to all who reply. 8)

Paris and London, First Time

You should thoroughly enjoy Paris and London as I just toured these cities with Globus this past June and had a wonderful time. In London, the Tower of London is a must see as well as the British Museum, the British Library. Be sure to visit Harrods and some of the distinct neighborhoods such as Kennsington, Notting Hill, Chelsea. The included sightseeing tour is definitely worthwile to get an overview of all thats going on. London is expensive so make sure you have adequate financial resources for food and tour expenses. ATM machines are everywhere so obtaining cash is not at all difficult and the bank ATM's give excellent conversion rates.
Hearty breakfasts are included with your package so be sure to take advantage and get your fill. For lunch and dinners, Pubs are a reasonably priced source.

In Paris, be sure to take the free tour with the local tour guide. You may want to get a copy of Rick Steve's guide as he had some good restaurants listed. Here are some of the things we did
City Lights Driving Excursion w/ Dinner at Montebello Café, across from Notre Dame(Globus Optional)-great food and atmosphere
City tour with local guide with visit to Notre Dame
Lunch at Lena’s-Panini
went to top of Eiffel Tower
afternoon-visited Versaille
walked around Paris past Ecole Militaire to "Invalides" where we saw Napoleon’s tomb-very impressive
took subway to visit the Louvre-Mona Lisa, Venus De Milo, Sphynx
rode bus(Route 69) to Cemetaire de Pere Lacheuse where Jim Morrison and a host of French notables are buried
had nice sidewalk dinner at Bosquet Bistro, recommended by Rick Steve

Have a great trip !

If I had to pick one thing to do in Paris, it would go to the Louve, I did it.
I also went to Versia and Effial Tower, but the Louve was my highlight
Looking forward to making new friends in my travel
