I have about 18 hours in Zurich. Any advice about hotels or sites not to be missed?

The Zoo was really great (found the animals really animated - lions mating and elephants going nuts during their bath!!) - take the tram. The Lindt chocolate factory is a short bus ride out of town. We went into lots of beautiful churches along the river and climbed up to the spires for some great views over the town. Also spent a lot of time in cafes drinking sensational coffee with lots and lots of cream!!

There are lots of hotels on the opposite side of the river across from the train station. Think we stayed in a Best Western. There were a few nice hotels along the tram tracks near the river.
