I just wanted to let people know how interested in customers apple vacations are
In Jan, 11 of our family menbers travelled to my sons wedding to Dominican Republic. Most of stayed at the rui Bachatta The arrangments were fine, flight was great but everyone got sickat the resort.Some worse than others.
It seems that they have a virus at the resort and didn't bother to warn people.Everyone talks about Norwalk but they are not sure. People were going home early and most everyone was talking about it at the resort.
My husband was so sick we didn't know if he could fly home on the scheduled day. We saw the dr. at the resort and he put him on IV and said to take him to the dr as soon as we got home if the symtems continued.
To make a long story short this sickness was happening in December and the resort or the travel agency did not react. When we called to complain Apple vacations could have cared less( I guess they got our money already)I believe SunQuest is takiing care of there customers that prove they got sick.
I was glad to here that shortly after we left they closed the resort to the public.
I will never book any vacations with Apple and definitly will not go to the dominican ever again. They were so indifferent about how lousy our vacation was. I will certainly look to SunQuest on my next vacation[/b]
