Any lifestylers at Sandals Ocho Rios next week?

Any lifestylers at Sandals Ocho Rios next week?

Postby Babe31 » Sat Dec 25, 2004 6:20 pm

There are 4 of us couples in the lifestyle going next week and are always open for new friends, Also how accepting are people of lifesylers at Sandals. We are very discreet during the day maybe a few hugs or pats here and there or putting on suntan lotion on someone elses spouse but we do get a little wild on the dancefloor at night. We are looking forward the the remote hot tubs Debbie described. Will the bars actually give you wine or a bottle of rum cream if requested to take there?

sandals is no hedo indeed. don't look for a lot of action at the disco at night either. you'll be the only people there.

 Not what I am looking to see on my vacation. I say that needs to stay in ones own ROOMS!!!!!!! I hope that doesn't happen on the dancefloor at Sandals Whitehouse!
Look to Hedo for the swinging to happen.

lifestylers

Postby shelb » Mon Dec 27, 2004 7:05 am

I will be there next week as well, and certainly don't care to see you carrying on in public. I am far from a prude, but GET A ROOM! Oh yeah, you alreasdy have one, use it, not the hot tubs.

The whole "lifestylers" thing isn't something you see blatent at sandals, most of the couples there are honeymooners and couples into each other, not other folk's partners. Hedonism resorts might be much more to your liking.

Thanks for the honest response ladies. We will tone it down when in public. About my other question, will they give you a bottole of booze to take to your room or hot tub if requested? It is all inclusive.

I've been wondering the same. like when I go golfing will they let me take a bottle of whiskey or some beers so I don't have to pay $3 each on the course? If golf is included shouldn't the drinks be too?

How about more than toning it down, B. How about taking it to your room. Sandals is not for swingers - but Couples and Honeymooners (no nookie in the hot tub or pool). .. . Take it to Hedonism down the road.. .. .. .

Sorry CC but the 40% off deal was just way too good to pass up!

If you want a bottle of wine, ect. , you can ask and yes, they will give you one. I do not know about taking the bottle off premise, though.. .. ..like to a golf course. That part I am not sure about.

The hot tubs I am talking about at SGOR are a long ways from the bar. You may or may not get a bottle of wine, but likely you can. Forget getting a bottle of whisky. If you wanted to do all that, concierge would have been in order.

The disco on the Manor side used to be hopping at times (often *quite* a mix), but this is when Grande Sport was all adults, not just couples. Who knows now, as it just opened back up. I would expect the vibe to change.

Here's what I know from 19 or so stays at Sandals--they do NOT want you to make other guests uncomfortable. People have been known to do all sorts of stuff at the wee hours, and for that, you can certainly get a map, but IF someone sees things and turns you in, be prepared. At SRB one time, there were two guys there with some "rent a dates". . They had curtains open for "things" and they were trying to do "activities" on the beach. They were told to quit all of this or leave the property. In St. Lucia, I saw another horrifying thing occur where a drunk girl cried rape.

Even at some of the "accomodating" resorts, lifestylers often keep it to the middle of the night. If you are keeping w/in your own group, you might be OK, but if you start trying to involve others, you will be on a sinking ship.

No Offense, but I choose Sandals resorts because I don't want to see this type of behavior. I've been to Hedo as well, and that would suit your needs much better IMO. Sandals just isn't a rowdy place. And forget the 40% off because Hedo is still cheaper than Sandals and is still a very nice resort.

I am with you Ishallreturn. We chose Sandals so we wouldn't have to see this type of behavior. Hedo would be better suited for your needs. Your kind of lifestyle will not be welcomed at Sandals. Sandals guests tend to be more conservative in this area. I wouldn't call it a party place (although we do know how to have clean fun) and certainly a place where "swingers" would not be welcomed or tolerated. And you are right, Hedo would be cheaper (they are running great sales right now) and more suited for this kind of behavior/lifestyle.

im from uk and certainly not a prude
but there is a time and place !!! and i did not think it was at a sandals resort !!!!
i for one would get really really upset if these people are just flaunting all over the resort !!! i will not allow anyone to spoil this holiday for my wife and i

Swinging at Sandals

Postby guest » Wed Feb 23, 2005 5:35 am

There are places at SOR: The hot tub at the Manor side, to the left between the grill and the big pool is very private, especially at night during dinner time (the waitstaff took several trips back and forth to watch us). . Also, the big hot tub adjacent to the Manor pool can be just the place for discreet activities. We had a hot time in both places during dinner time and two other couples actually joined us!
