SOrry - this is not about sandals but this is the only board where people will actually help others.. .. . so here it goes.
My husband andI are planning our next vacation for the end of jan or possibly early feb and are considering Aruba or the Maya Riviera (Mexico)
Just wondering if anyone has been to either of these locations around this time of year.. .. . how;s the weather? Is the water temp comfortable? What is the best resort in the area (we're a couple - no children)? Thanx for the help!

Weather.com is actually a good site to get weather information. Hope this helps. Just remember that the closer you are to the equator the warmer it is. I would probably choose aruba during this time of year. went to cancun in march and the nights were relatively cold.

The farther south you get, the better your chances of having warm weather AND warm water. End of January you want southern Caribbean. I'm going to St Lucia this coming Sunday so I'll let you know how that plays out.
