We took this trip in September 2002. It was mrvellous. Hotels were OK but I didn't like staying at a couple of Sheraton Hotels with no Italian atmosphere. The one in Florence was on the outskirts, not centrally located as advertised by Insight. But that wouldn't stop me from going. There;s lots to see esprcially if you you take the few optional tours in Tuscany to see: Cortona, Pisa & Lucca and Pienza. We felt the tour gave us a wonderful immesion to all of Italy!
