Can anyone tell me if there are advantages/disadvantages to booking through a travel agent vs. directly through the Apple website?
A travel agent quoted us a price for a particular trip. Then I found the exact same trip on the Apple vacation website for $80 cheaper.
Is it worth the risk not using a travel agent?
Thanks! |

Most Agents will carry the same prices as the tour company. Make sure they don't charge a service fee. The advantage of going through an Agency is you have one more level of someone who can be held if the travel goes wrong. Make sure the airfare is done through the tour company thus if the flight is late or worse the tour provider should make it good.

i have done both, we did find booking on line through an agency, that we saved per couple apx. 300. .00.....everything was the same....doylestown travel gave us a 10% savings.....for flying out of our local airport.....we would have flown out of it any way.....do some home work....you can save a little here or there....make sure you take out the insurance.....you never know when you may need it..... |
