travelmb is deficient in antigua reports. we'd love to go, but there's just not enough talk about it anywhere to warrant the risk. obviously, they ain't livin up to the other resorts.

Don't get me wrong, i would'nt want to put anyone off , but don't expect the standard usually expected of a Sandals Resort.
It's DEFINATLEY worth hiring a car and getting around the island. There's loads to see and you can easily visit other islands surrounding it using the ferry from St johns (10mins away)

When we visited Antigua last october "Chuck" was paying a visit, to start procedings on the new building work due to be started this year with the idea of an English pub . . So hopefull when they start pulling the pints, the rest of the hotel will also look a bit better . . cheers !!

My husband and i were married in Sandals Royal Caribbean, Jamaica in 1993. IT is still our favourite Sandals and we have been back sice then.
We are off to Sandal Hicacos, Cuba next week and to St lucia (Halcyon)
next October, so will let you know what they are like!
