My husband and I are looking for a great trip to Asia, preferably to China and/or Japan. We have never been to the Orient, but we have traveled extensively in Europe and are now looking for a different experience. Often, we have found that trips we do on our own are the most fun. However, we feel that a trip to the Orient would need to be on a tour. Can anyone recommend a tour that would have small groups and give us enough time to explore on our own, yet not be incredibly expensive.
