Fantasy November 21-25

My friend and I will be taking this cruise to the Bahamas during Thanksgiving week. It's suppose to dock in Freeport & Nassau, but I've read that Freeport is still a mess. When I go to check the shore excursions on Carnival's website, it only lists things to do in Orlando.

Does anyone know when Carnival resumed going to the Bahamas? (in light of the hurricane damage)

just read the Fantasy failed the CDC inspection, 83 points minimum is 86 to pass, items found include broken food storage thermometers and roaches in various stages of development, I am going on the Triumph 12-11-2004, hope they still mantain better numbers.
Have a great cruise.

http://www.cdc.gov/nceh/vsp
Click on search inspection scores, scroll down to your ship and go from there.

Well unfortunately I'm too late to fill you in before your cruise!

I will say, my friend and I were not impressed with the ship. (Although, our cabin steward was awesome & the room was a lot nicer than we expected.) The overall quality of the food was comparative to a local Perkins. I could go on and on, but I won't if for no other reason than even though we weren't impressed with the ship, we still managed to create our own fun and that's really the most important thing anyway.

I would not recommend this ship to anyone. (However, the experience has not deterred us from considering future cruises with Carnival. We'll just be going on a different ship!)
